Jacques Perron , B.Sc., P.Eng., ing., President, Chief Executive Officer and Director


Mr. Perron’s career of more than 35 years in the global mining industry has included extensive technical and operational experience. Most recently, Mr. Perron was President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. until it was acquired by Centerra Gold Inc in 2016. He joined Thompson Creek as Chief Executive Officer in 2013 and took on the additional role of President in 2014. Among his previous senior executive positions in mining, he was President and CEO of St. Andrew Goldfields (2007-2013), Senior Vice President of Iamgold (2006-2007) and Senior Vice President Canada of Cambior Inc. (2004-2006). Mr. Perron has been a director of the Canadian Mineral Industry Education Foundation since 2007. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from l'École Polytechnique de Montréal.

Patrick Godin, Eng., C.Dir., Vice President and Chief Operating Officer


Mr. Godin brings more than 25 years of mining industry experience to the Pretivm team. Most recently, Mr. Godin was President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Stornoway Diamond Corporation, from January 2019 until June 2020. He joined Stornoway Diamond in May 2010 as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and was directly responsible for the construction and the operations of the Renard Diamond Mine, Québec’s first diamond mine.

Prior to joining Stornoway Diamond, Mr. Godin acted as Vice President, Project Development for GMining Services Inc. (2008-2010), Vice-President of Operations for Canadian Royalties Inc. (2007-2008), and President and General Manager of CBJ-CAIMAN S.A.S. (2004-2007), a French subsidiary of Cambior Inc. (now IAMGOLD Corporation), holder of the Camp Caïman gold mining project located in French Guiana. Mr. Godin holds a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from Université Laval in Québec.

Matthew Quinlan, BSc. Eng., CFA, CPA, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer


Mr. Quinlan has 25 years of experience in finance, capital markets and the global mining industry. Most recently, he served as the interim CFO of Trevali Mining Corporation and prior thereto, as the CFO of Dominion Diamond Corporation, one of the world’s largest diamond mining companies. Over the course of a fifteen-year career in investment banking, he acted as lead advisor/underwriter in over $40 billion of transactions in the global mining industry and was Managing Director and Co-head of CIBC’s Global Mining investment banking group. Mr. Quinlan holds a BSc. (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering with Business Finance from University College London and The London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Greg Norton, M.Sc., B.Sc., Vice President, Environment and Regulatory Affairs


Mr. Norton has over 14 years of experience in the mining sector working as a consultant on numerous mining projects in Canada and Latin America, including consulting with Pretivm since 2012. Prior to joining Pretivm Mr. Norton was a Partner with ERM Consultants Canada, where he served as Project Manager and Project Director with overall accountability for multi-disciplinary teams of environmental, social, economic and engineering professionals supporting mines at various stages of planning, permitting, development and operations. Mr. Norton is responsible for providing leadership for all environmental matters, working closely with operations to ensure environmental regulatory compliance, and supporting the development of Pretivm’s reputation as a mining leader in the area of environmental diligence and disclosure. Mr. Norton holds a B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia, and a M.Sc. in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Guelph.

Vladimir Cvijetinovic, BCom., JD, Vice President, Legal and Corporate Secretary


Mr. Cvijetinovic joined Pretivm in 2018 and is responsible for all legal matters related to the company. Prior to joining Pretivm, Mr. Cvijetinovic practiced law at the Calgary and Vancouver offices of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities regulation, and corporate governance matters. Mr. Cvijetinovic holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of British Columbia, and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia.

Sean Masse, B.Asc., P.Eng., PMP, General Manager, Brucejack Mine


Mr. Masse has over 20 years of experience as an underground mining industry professional in progressively more senior management roles. Mr. Masse oversees the Brucejack Mine Leadership Team who are responsible for delivering safe and socially responsible production at the mine. Prior to his appointment as General Manager, Mr. Masse held the position of Assistant General Manager of Brucejack Mine since joining the Company in 2020. Before joining Pretivm, Mr. Masse was Vice President of Operations at Barkerville Gold Mines, prior to its acquisition. He also served as Project Manager for Centerra’s Kemess Underground Project. During his tenure at Kemess, Mr. Masse worked closely with First Nations leadership, regulators and other stakeholders to permit the underground panel cave project. Before Kemess Underground, Mr. Masse led the mining team that brought New Gold’s New Afton mine into successful production; on schedule and on budget, now Canada’s highest tonnage underground mine. Mr. Masse holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mining & Mineral Process Engineering, with a minor in Commerce from the University of British Columbia. He is a Professional Engineer in the Province of British Columbia and a certified Project Management Professional.
